ABOUT
FAYE NEWMAN
I have been in the
kitchen industry for
over 8 years
and have worked with companies across both the independent and fully bespoke sectors. This experience has given me extensive product knowledge and the ability to design unique, functional spaces tailored to each client.
I work directly with homeowners to create personalised kitchen and bedroom designs, and I also support independent retailers, joiners, and interior designers with freelance design services.
Before specialising in kitchens, I studied furniture design throughout my education and into university. I’ve always been hands-on and drawn to the practical side of design—my passion for carpentry has equipped me with the technical insight essential to successful kitchen and bedroom planning.
As an independent designer and podcast host, I focus on creating kitchen and bedroom designs that are perfectly aligned with your lifestyle and needs—while also sharing practical tips and inspiration you can use in your own home. I would love to work with you on your upcoming project, so please get in touch to learn more about how I can help.
Unbiased Expert
Advice
With over 8 years of design experience in the industry and no direct involvement in supplying goods, I offer clients an unbiased opinion about their projects. I work with them to create the most functional layout, provide expert advice on the process, and help find the right supplier for their needs.
Transparency
Clients find they can be completely open and transparent about their project goals, previous experiences, and budget, which is crucial when managing any renovation project. Learning about these details helps me gain a thorough understanding of how I can best assist you.
Design
Focused
My primary focus is your design! Creating the most effective layout for any room is imperative, especially for a highly functional space like a kitchen. I will learn about your day-to-day activities, cooking style, and wish list to ensure we create a timeless design that suits your preferences, property, and lifestyle.
Finding the
Right Supplier
Any kind of renovation project is stressful enough, so it’s crucial to have the right team around you. I will work with you to navigate the many suppliers out there, finding the best one to suit your style preferences, price point, and project type. Clients find that having a design in place before approaching showrooms saves time and makes the process less daunting.
MEET
THE DESIGNER
Faye fell into the world of kitchens after graduating from university in 2016. What started as a job to help pay the bills before going travelling quickly turned into a career she never expected—but wouldn’t change for anything. Since then, it’s grown into the most rewarding and fulfilling path she could have imagined, combining creativity, problem-solving, and a genuine love for great design.
OUR STORY
Faye Newman Design was founded in 2022 as a way to support businesses by easing the pressure of demanding workloads and maintaining design consistency. Since then, the business has evolved to not only collaborate with trade professionals, but also to work directly with homeowners—helping them navigate the often overwhelming process of kitchen renovations. Faye’s clients value her independent, unbiased approach to recommending suppliers and creating designs tailored to their lifestyle, making it a natural progression to offer her expertise to homeowners as well.
WHY DID I START
THE PODCAST
After realising that homeowners only renovate their kitchen a handful of times in their lifetime, Love Your Kitchen host Faye Newman wanted to create an inviting, pressure-free platform for anyone going through a kitchen renovation to listen and learn at their own pace. What started as a small idea—sparked by a webinar about podcasts on Instagram—has grown into a show with thousands of weekly listeners and support from industry leader Blum, helping homeowners around the world feel more confident in their renovation journey.
Faye regularly hosts webinars, attends industry events, and organises local coffee mornings—all designed to support clients with their kitchen and bedroom renovation projects. To stay up to date with the latest events, expert tips, and design inspiration, be sure to join our mailing list.
